Can I wear my disc during sex?Updated 16 hours ago
You can wear your femdisc during sex too ❤️
It doesn’t create suction – it sits higher up in the vaginal fornix, right in front of the cervix, and tucks securely behind the pubic bone, so it stays in place.
During arousal and sex, the vagina expands and gets a bit longer. This means the menstrual disc can be worn without getting in the way or slipping out. Usually, neither you nor your partner should feel the disc ✨
No worries: your femdisc can’t get „lost“ inside your body. The vagina ends at the cervix. After sex, it’s best to wait about an hour for everything to relax again before removing the disc as usual.
Take your time and be gentle while you learn how the disc works with your anatomy. If you use lubricant, make sure it’s water-based – oil-based products can damage the silicone over time.
It’s best to empty your femdisc before sex and clean it afterward with the femdisc foam cleanser or another mild cleanser 🧧
Please note: the femdisc is not a contraceptive. So be sure to also use your preferred method of contraception. If you’re not sure whether your contraceptive method is compatible with a disc, it’s best to talk to your doctor.
*The femdisc neither prevents pregnancy nor protects against sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
