How do I use the sterilizer?Updated 16 hours ago

In the microwave: 

Fill the sterilizer 3/4 full with water. Put the femdisc inside and just set the lid on top. Please don't close the lid completely, since the steam needs to escape. Set your microwave power so that the water in the sterilizer boils (find the right setting by first watching the sterilizer uncovered). In most cases the water boils in 3–5 minutes on a medium setting.

Be careful when taking the sterilizer out – there's a risk of scalding! You can also leave the sterilizer in the microwave to cool down.

Since we don't know the power of your microwave, please follow all the instructions to be safe.

Important: turn off your microwave's grill function!

With boiling water:

Place the femdisc in the sterilizer. Add boiling water so that the disc is covered.

Close the lid and let the disc sit in the hot water for 5 minutes.

Oven:

Take a baking tray with parchment paper and fill the sterilizer 3/4 full with water. Put the femdisc inside and just set the lid on top. Please don't close the lid completely, since the steam needs to escape. Place the sterilizer in the oven at a maximum of 180 degrees for no more than 10 minutes. The water should boil.

Be careful when taking the sterilizer out – there's a risk of scalding! You can also leave the sterilizer in the open oven to cool down.

Since we don't know the power of your oven, please follow all the instructions to be safe.
