How do I know if the femdisc is positioned correctly?Updated 16 hours ago

For the femdisc to reliably help prevent leaks and sit comfortably, it’s important that it’s inserted correctly and rests securely behind the pubic bone.

It helps to first figure out where your cervix is. To do this, you can gently feel inside your vagina with a clean finger. At the end, you’ll feel a small, smooth circle – it feels a bit like pursed lips. That’s your cervix.

This gives you a better sense of where the femdisc should sit and how far back it needs to be inserted. When you squat down, the cervix moves a little closer to the vaginal opening, which makes it easier to feel.

Then insert the femdisc and gently check the position with a finger: the disc should enclose the cervix and be hooked securely behind the pubic bone with its front rim ✨
