Where does the femdisc sit and how does it work?
The femdisc sits in the vaginal fornix, right in front of the cervix, and catches the blood there. Its front rim hooks behind the pubic bone to stay securely in place.
Which size should I get?
We offer 2 different sizes. The right size for you mostly depends on the height of your cervix. If it sits low, we recommend the femdisc Small. If it's average to high, the femdisc Regular usually fits.
Can I swim with the femdisc?
You can easily wear the femdisc while swimming, bathing, in the jacuzzi, in the sauna, and even while diving 🌊. It fits against the vaginal fornix and safely catches your menstrual blood – so everything stays where it belongs.
Can I have sex with the femdisc in?
You can wear the femdisc during sex too ❤️ It doesn't create suction, sits higher up in the vaginal fornix below the cervix, and hooks securely behind the pubic bone. During arousal and sex, the vaginal canal lengthens.
